If you like playing football you'll like this game.
It's a bit like blow football, except it uses these sonic blasters to push the ball around the pitch using the power of sound waves!
The only rule is that you're not allowed to touch the ball with your sonic blaster – otherwise it's a free kick or penalty!
To make the sonic blaster, all you need is a long crisp tube, a balloon and a piece of card.
First, cut the sealed base off the crisp tube.

Then cut the top off the balloon.
Pop the lid off the crisp tube and stretch the balloon over the top, like this.

It's a bit tricky, but it can be done!
Secure it in place with lots of sticky tape, all the way around.
Give the balloon a bit of a stretch and tie a knot in the top.

That completes the sound generator part of the sonic blaster – just pull the end of the balloon.
To direct the sound waves, you need to make a seal with a hole to go over the end of the crisp tube which was originally sealed.

So, draw around the crisp tube onto a piece of card.
Now take a penny, and place it in the centre of the circle you've just drawn on the card.

Draw around it.
Cut the circles out so that you have a piece of card that looks something like this.
Secure it in place with tape – wrap a piece all the way around, like this.
Take a pair of scissors and make a few snips in the tape, so that you can fold it over and flatten it down.
That completes the sonic blaster.

When you pull the balloon, sound waves are pushed through the tube through the hole, so forcing air to push the ball.
To make goals for your pitch, pet food boxes work beautifully!

Cut a T-shape half way up the box, like this.
Then just bend in the side pieces, like this, to create goal posts!

Stick them down with tape.
If you've got lots of time, you can make a whole pitch like this!
Decorate the goals to make them look as realistic as possible…
…and put cardboard round the edges to stop the ball rolling off.

You can make up your own advertising boards, too!
Plus, don't forget to decorate the sonic blasters in team colours!
Enjoy the game!
