| Don't you just hate it when you go to the kitchen for some savoury snacks and you find the tub's empty?
| Well, if you make this you can give those serial snackers in your family the surprise of their life!
Take a loo roll tube, or cut down a kitchen roll tube.
Cover the tube in fur fabric.
Just apply lines of glue to the back of the fabric and roll it around the tube.
Glue the ends of the fabric and tuck them inside the tube.
| Next, cut a thin strip of fur fabric to make a tail...
...and stick this to the body.
Cut a triangle of fur fabric and fold it together to make a head shape.
Stick this inside the other end of the tube.
Punch a couple of holes in some white paper and use the circles for eyes.
Draw on pupils with a black felt tip pen.
Cut some ears from coloured card and stick these, and the eyes, onto the face.
That completes your rodent.
Next, half blow up a long balloon.
Pop the balloon into the tub, and tie it up once you've achieved a snug fit.
Ease the balloon into the tub, so that there's just enough room to pop the rodent on top, and that when the lid is removed, the rodent will fly out.
Pop the rodent inside, and pop the lid on carefully.
The next time your serial snacker is helping him or herself, they rodent will fly out, giving them quite a surprise!
