Dan is Becky’s non-identical twin. Unlike her, he's not academic, he's not scientifically interested: he’s outright dumb.

But Brian thinks Dan is a visionary; a soul mate; a competitor. But Dan’s intellectual limitations are inversely proportional to his huge sense of fun. This is what usually gets him into trouble. Plus his laziness!

Daniel Feltham is really excited to be in the show:

“I used to watch it and really enjoyed it. I found out I’d got the part one Friday after school. I’d just got in from hockey and my agent rang and told me the news. I was totally shocked! When I told my parents they thought I was winding them up. They were so proud of me, they bought me a new mobile as a treat!

“I’m not as stupid as Dan in real life, but I do have my moments – and we have the same name! His friend Dinesh is also a bit stupid, and they even invent a special club for stupid people in one episode!”
