Brian and Sophie have fallen out and the kids are finding their behaviour trying. But not nearly as trying as it becomes after Harry has arranged a romantic dinner for them which leads to their falling in love. Romance is in the air, so CJ accepts a challenge from Josh to get himself a girlfriend, which leads to his falling into the clutches of Poppy, who sets about knocking him into shape as potential husband material. At school, Lucy is about to be awarded the Bosun Higgs Memorial Prize for her outstanding academic performance, but when Brian and Sophie are discovered snogging behind the stage, she is forced to sacrifice the glory due to her and join the rest of the kids in extricating their foster parents from humiliation.
