Series 7, Episode 1: The Trouble With Harry

A new girl appears at school. Her name is Harry and Josh, Pete and Frankie all immediately start to compete for her favour with Josh determined to be the victor. At home everyone’s feeling a bit down because Mel has gone off on a French exchange trip to Canada and Sophie has to come to terms with the concept of sentimental value when she loses the necklace that Mel gave her as a leaving present. Even though it was cheap and left a green mark on her neck, she can’t understand why the replacement she buys doesn’t seem to have the same meaning for her. Missing Mel, Brian and Harry go off back to the children’s home to get themselves a new Mel and Josh is shocked when called downstairs to meet the new member of the family to discover that his new foster sister is, of course, Harry!
